Hi! my name is Amelia Lorenson. Growing up in a small town surrounded by nature, my love for animals blossomed at an early age. I grew up in a family that valued companionship and loyalty, and often found myself playing with the family pets, which included various breeds of dogs. My fascination with dogs deepened when I encountered a Chow Chow at a local dog show during my teenage years. The breed’s unique appearance and dignified demeanor captivated me, igniting a passion that would shape my future.

Determined to turn passion into a profession, I found myself skipping studies, as I focused more helping out at animal shelters and learning more on canine genetics and behavior, gaining valuable knowledge about breeding practices and health considerations. After completing high school, I took part in internships at various animal shelters and veterinary clinics, gaining hands-on experience with different dog breeds. It was during this time that I began volunteering with local rescue organizations focused on Chows. This experience not only honed my skills in dog care but also solidified my desire to specialize in breeding Chow Chows.

I decided to start my own breeding program dedicated to producing healthy and well-tempered Chow Chows. I invested time researching genetics and best breeding practices to ensure that my dogs would not only meet breed standards but also possess excellent temperaments suitable for families. In 2015, I established “Chow Paw Palace,” focusing on responsible breeding practices while prioritizing the health and welfare of each dog.

Outside of breeding, my goal is educating prospective owners about the responsibilities of pet ownership. I conduct workshops on proper care for Chow Chows and advocate for adopting rather than shopping for pets whenever possible. My philosophy centers around creating lifelong bonds between dogs and their owners while ensuring that each puppy is placed in a loving home.Through hard work, passion, and dedication to ethical breeding practices, “Chow Paw Palace” is a respected figure in the world of Chow Chow breeding.
